Accessibility

This site is built to be usable by everyone taking or teaching the course, including people using a screen reader, a keyboard alone, a phone, or a browser zoomed well past 100%.

Target standard: WCAG 2.1 level AA.

What that means here

• Every page works from the keyboard. Menus, accordions, the testimonial carousel and every checklist are reachable with Tab and operable with Enter, Space or the arrow keys, and the focused element is always visible.
• Nothing moves on its own. The testimonial carousel does not auto-rotate, and animation is reduced automatically when your system asks for reduced motion.
• Text is text. The course notes are real text, not images or embedded PDFs, so they can be enlarged, read aloud, searched and translated.
• Colour is never the only signal, and body text meets the AA contrast ratio in both the light and the dark version of every theme.
• Tables stack rather than scroll sideways on a narrow screen, and touch targets stay comfortably large.
• Images carry alt text, and embeds are labelled with what they contain.
• Twenty-two themes, each with a light and a dark variant, including high-contrast options — use the theme control in the top bar.

Known limits

• Some third-party embeds (Google Slides and Docs, YouTube) are the provider's own player and this site does not control their accessibility. Wherever one is used, the original file is also linked so it can be opened in a tool of your choice.
• Older PDFs linked from the resource library may not be tagged for screen readers. Ask and an accessible version will be provided.
